Kevin Prince

Kevin has been married to his wife, Pamela, for 23 years and has 2 boys C.J. age 7 and Shane age 5. They live in Encinitas and is currently the worship leader/pastor (which is my passion) at El Camino Christian Fellowship also here in Encinitas. He has been raised up as a servant leader under Mike MacIntosh at Horizon Christian Fellowship since 1985. He attended Horizon School of Evangelism with Pamela in 1992 and has been involve in active Christian ministry most of his life. He has a passion to share the love of the Lord through worship and this is what motivates and excites him. He loves Gods word, worshipping Him and enjoys soaking in Gods love. He is an avid backpacker and loves the outdoors. He is passionate about developing servant leaders. He is a Singer/Songwriter musician who likes to play guitar, write songs, teach people how to sing, Also Kevin has hosted worship conferences. “Raising up the next generation of worship leaders” is what Kevin is all about. Just finishing the Skartland Prince’(www.skartlandprince.com) “seven” CD, he is exited to see what the Lord has in store for the Ministry Training School and is thrilled to be a part of Gods call to bring God glory, feed His sheep and to trust in the Him.


Larry Peltier

Senior Pastor El Camino Christian Fellowship

After graduating from Horizon School of Evangelism, Larry served for nearly 20 years as a pastor at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego. His ministries at Horizon included 12 years as both director of the Horizon School of Evangelism and Director of Missions. Since 1995 Larry has been pastoring El Camino Christian Fellowship in Encinitas. Currently, Larry is Chairman of the Board for Care House Life Ministries in San Diego and Kick It, a Substance Abuse Ministry for teens. He holds a ‘Master of Divinity’ degree from the C.P. Haggard Graduate School of Theology at Azusa Pacific University.

Roy Cochran

Mentoring Facilitator / Pastor to Artists

Roy has served as a worship pastor in the local church for the past 19 years. He has participated as a worship leader and speaker locally, nationally and internationally with Promise Keepers, Saddleback Worship Conference, Horizon International and Calvary Chapel. He also comes along side artists and musicians serving outside the church with spiritual encouragement and perspective. Before joining the MTS team, he has served as the worship pastor at Journey Community Church in La Mesa, CA; at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego, CA; and at Coastline Community Church in Carlsbad, CA. He now lives in Carlsbad, CA with his wife Chris and their two boys

Matt Tague

Senior Pastor Rancho Del Rey Church

Matt was born and raised in Carlsbad, Calif. Although he grew up in a devout Christian home, he struggled and rebelled against the Lord as a teenager. However, at eighteen, Matt gave in to God's love and submitted to Jesus. Soon after, he met and married his wife Kelli. They now have three children and love the role that God has given them as parents. In 1998, Matt graduated from Vanguard University with a degree in Ministry and Leadership. For the last fifteen years, he has worked for a variety of Christian ministries including Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego, the Christian Research Institute in Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Carlsbad Community Church in Carlsbad, Calif. In 2005, the Lord called Matt to plant Rancho del Rey Christian Church in Carlsbad, Calif. Matt's heart desire is to help people see Jesus in all his glory. His life's calling is to present the Jesus of the Bible to people who don't yet believe, and to encourage fellow Christ-followers to live in complete, life-altering obedience to God. He recently authored his first book, Read the Word: The Bible Was Written for You.

Brian Craig

Lead Pastor of New Heights Christian Fellowship

Brian has been the pastor of New Heights ever since they asked him to put his 22 year paramedic career on hold and to stand in the gap as our interim pastor during the summer of 2005. In January of 2006 we called Brian to be their full-time Lead Pastor. Brian is a teacher whose passion is to build a Biblically competent and Spirit-led church of men, women, and youth who are fully engaged in obeying Jesus' commission to be and to develop others into fully-devoted followers of the Lord...locally, globally, and personally. Ephesians 3:16-19 Brian earned his Bachelor's degree from CSU Fresno and his Master of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University. Currently he is a doctoral student at Talbot Seminary in La Mirada. He is an experienced mountaineer, a wanna-be photographer, (gentle) off-roader, and an avid cyclist. Brian has been married to Eileen for 31-derful years. Their three children (and one son-in-law) are all engaged in Christian ministry.

Micah Haney

Micah Haney has been teaching at bible schools and schools for Christian ministry in the San Diego area since 1995. In 2002 he was ordained by The Wesleyan Church and currently serves as Assistant Pastor at El Camino Christian Fellowship. As a teacher Micah is dedicated to equipping persons who will minister God’s love faithfully and relevantly in the church and to the world. Micah is also a visual artist who examines and articulates relationship with God through painting and drawing. Micah earned his Bachelor’s degree in art from the University of California, San Diego, in 1994, and his Master of Divinity degree from Azusa Pacific University in 2000. He is presently a Ph.D. candidate at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. Micah is married to Elizabeth and together they have two children. He is an enthusiastic backpacker and bass player.

Arnie Vilches

Worship Leader, Instructor

Arnie has been teaching guitar and bass for the past 25 years. He started playing professionally at age 13 in Philadelphia. At 21 Arnie moved to Southern Ca to pursue his musical career and played the club scene in San Diego & LA. This led him down a dark path of alchohol & drug addiction. In 1987 Arnie surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, had a radical transformation and was set free! Since then he has recorded and toured all over the world with contemporary Christian artist Mark Farner of Grand Funk Railroad. He has shared the stage with rock & roll greats such as Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, Robin Trower, REO Speedwagon, Bachman Turner Overdrive. As well as Christian artists Phil Keaggy, Carmen, Margaret Becker, The News Boys and the list goes on. Recently Arnie has been recording and touring North, Central and South America with Contemporary Christian Latin Rock artist Two or More performing at concerts, crusades, conferences as well as local worship services since 2000. They have 6 cd’s and had top 10 hits on the Christian charts. Arnie’s heart is to share his life experiences, musical knowledge and disciple the next generation of musicians and artists.

Sean Hutchinson

Music/Worship Director

Sean is currently serving as the Music/Worship Director at The Resolved Church here in San Diego. He is married to a beautiful woman named Christy. They have two small children, Jude and Hannah. He has had the privilege to serve Jesus’ church in music leadership ever since he became a Christian in high school. He is also working on my B.A. from Colorado Christian University. Pastoring other musicians and creating times for Jesus’ church to worship together are the passions of his soul. "For me, music has always been a catalyst for conversation and connection with God and I strive to help others to experience the same".

Jim Heidrick

Jim Heidrick is 45 years old, married, and has two children ages 9 & 16. He has been a Christian since the Thanksgiving holiday season of 1986. Two years later, he enrolled and completed the Horizon School of Evangelism under Pastor/Director Larry Peltier. Upon completion of the 1988 calendar year curriculum at the school; He taught in the HSE, a home fellowship, and chaired Most Excellent Way Substance abuse meetings. In 1992, he was an Intern Pastor at Horizon Christian Fellowship in San Diego. For the 3 years that followed; he resided in Marco Island, Florida performing various duties associated with Hurricane Andrew relief work. Upon his return to California in 1995 he re-established fellowship with his pastor, mentor, and friend, Larry Peltier at El Camino Christian Fellowship in Encinitas. He currently serves as the overseer of the home fellowship network at the church and the Moonlight Beach Summer Bible Study, and teaches Children’s Sunday school with his wife, and has the privilege of serving in the ever important prayer ministry.
